This year marked the inaugural edition of the Grasse Perfume Week, organized by Nez in the emblematic city of fragrance. A week of exchanges, discoveries, and meaningful encounters, all driven by a shared passion: the art of perfumery. An event that shines a spotlight on the craftsmanship behind perfume—recognized as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO—and pays tribute to those who shape olfactory emotion.
GEODORA had the pleasure of taking part in this celebration by hosting exclusive olfactory workshops at the heart of its boutique, led by our in-house perfumer, Gérard Gatti. These special moments allowed visitors to immerse themselves in the sensory world of GEODORA, discover our creations, and explore the core values that define our Maison. These exchanges revolved around what we call our love triangle:
A genuine passion for haute parfumerie With over 30 years of expertise alongside the most prestigious fragrance houses, our perfumer chose to give life to his own vision of perfumery: GEODORA—a brand that reflects both his savoir-faire and his deep love for the elegance and authenticity of French perfumery.
The desire to stir emotions Each olfactory creation is driven by the desire to touch the hearts of those who wear it—to awaken the senses, inspire well-being, and elevate the everyday through the invisible beauty of fragrance.
A profound respect for nature Nature lies at the very heart of GEODORA’s inspiration—fittingly, the name GEODORA means “gift of the earth.” As our primary source of olfactory emotion, nature is a muse we honor and protect, which is why environmental preservation is at the core of all our practices.
In parallel, our perfumer was honored to take part in the Sens2 exhibition—an extraordinary fusion of photography and perfumery curated by artist and photographer Elias. Each perfumer was invited to interpret an iconic portrait through a unique fragrance creation.
On this occasion, our perfumer chose to pay tribute to the legendary Claudia Cardinale by creating Swing Néroli—a luminous and elegant fragrance, now available in-store as part of our new collection of perfume extracts.
This week marked the close of this beautiful exhibition, a celebration of the intimate dialogue between image and scent. We were deeply moved by the warm reception our creations received, and by the emotions they were able to evoke.
A vibrant week that brought life to the city of Grasse and cast a well-deserved spotlight on the region’s exceptional perfumery know-how.
