In the process of elaborating our range of perfumes, Gérard Gatti, our founder and perfumer of the house, put a priority on creating perfumes that last on the skin for a day – or even more! It took him almost two years to reach that level while wearing his creations himself but also constantly asking people around him to wear them in order for him to evaluate those technical aspects. When the fragrances met his expectations and only at that time he gave his final OK to launch. All our perfumes are made with a minimum of 18% concentration.

No. None of our current products is tested on animals, and none of our future products will be ever tested on animals.

As our perfumes have a high intensity, you won’t need much of it daily. If you put 3-4 sprays each morning, it should last for the following timespans:

30ml:     2,5   months

60ml:     5-6   months

120ml: 10-12 months 

We are probably one of the fragrance brands using the highest percentage of natural ingredients because we love natural ingredients. Our name GEODORA means “the gift from the earth”, which stands as a tribute to those incredibles ingredients that nature and talented men give us to formulate our perfumes.
They make our fragrances so beautiful and shining. But we also like synthetics ingredients that help us to add some facettes like musc, fruits, Lily of the Valley, Gardenia, aldehydes and many others that we can’t have in natural ingredients. Synthetics also helped to be more long lasting. 

First of all those bottles are – like all other items from our perfume range – are made in Grasse. They are the fruit of a long and huge savoir-faire of a company that is 200 years old and worldwide leader in the production of bottles and drums for the fragrance and pharmaceutical industry.

Secondly, our unbreakable Estagnon bottles made of aluminium is the best protecting bottle for our perfumes. This is because we use a lot of natural ingredients that needs to be carefully protected from air, light and warm temperatures. 

Thirdly, unless any other glass bottle where perfume lasts a maximum of 2 to 4 years, our bottles are made to protect perfume for 8 to 12 years. 

The  footprint of our bottles is very low because they are sourced locally are about 25 times lighter than a similar volume in glass. Our bottles don’t need a box or cellophane, this is very good for you as well as for our planet.

Thanks to our Estagnon bottles, we are the only brand in the world to offer to our clients located in France (in our stores or trough or website), a refilling of our bottle in a circulatory system. How does it work? You buy a first bottle of any of our perfume in any of our 3 volumes, send them back to us and will have a 10% discount on any of our perfumes in any of our volumes.

Our solution has the merit of going further in terms of zero waste. With our Estagnon bottles, we are probably the only brand in the world to offer our customers in France (in our stores or through our website) the exchange of our bottles in a circular system. How does it work? You purchase an initial bottle of any fragrance in one of our three sizes, and for each of your subsequent fragrances, even if you change to a different GEODORA scent or size, you will receive a 10% discount in exchange for your empty bottle.

You can purchase our products in our boutique located in Grasse, 14 Place aux Aires as well as at the international perfumery museum in Grasse, in the stores mentioned in the store location section and in our online shop. Depending on the time of the year, you will also find GEODORA products in other locations.

Nothing more than 18% of fragrance and 82% of organic alcohol of wheat. No water and no colorant is added to our perfumes.

GEODORA uses organic wheat alcohol, which is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. It is usually friendlier to the skin and offers a more complex and rich aromatic profile. Furthermore, it supports organic agriculture, which is beneficial for the environment and promotes biodiversity.

1. Use the candle in a ventilated area.
2. Keep the wick about 1cm long to ensure a good burn.
3. It’s advised to let the candle burn no more than 3 to 5 hours a day.
4. Extinguish the candle by covering it to stop the oxygen supply.

They don’t make much foam because they are 100% of natural origin. It’s a surfactant called Sodium laureth sulfate that makes the soap foaming. As our soaps are only made with 100% natural materials such as organic olive oil, water and essential oils, there is no additive ingredients like surfactant, colorant, amalgamate or others.

They are made from the finest ingredients through cold saponification. Their formulation contains very few ingredients, all of which are of natural origin. The vegetable oils, either olive or sunflower, are certified organic, and the cold saponification process ensures a high glycerin content. Our soaps contain 8% to 9% unsaponified fats. They cleanse the skin gently and provide excellent protection for your epidermis through their nourishing and moisturizing actions.
